With a proud and romantic history, the 78th Fraser Highland regiment of today is an historical, military and social society dedicated to the preservation of the memory of the Fraser Highlanders, their honourable adversaries, and their contribution to Canadian and Scottish history.

The Officers and M'ladies of the 78th have the unique opportunity of socializing with other ladies and gentlemen in the elegant Officers' Mess of the Bessborough Armouries in Vancouver. We hold commemorative dinners each year (Robert Burns, The Siege of Louisbourg, The Battle of the Plains of Abraham, St. Andrew's Day), and monthly dinner meetings, including an annual whisky tasting night. The Pipes and Drums and The Honourable Guard often perform at Fraser Highlanders' events, as well as parades and other public festivities.

To join in the camaraderie you do not require a military background nor Scottish ancestry, simply a patriotic nature and a desire to participate in the work and social events of the 78th Fraser Highlanders. Your participation can be as involved as you desire - your company, to any degree, is most welcome.
